The Job Vacancy Assessment is a labour market test, designed to ensure that an employer has exhausted any available options in the local labour market for addressing workforce needs before inviting an applicant from outside the country to fill their vacancy.Employers with temporary labour needs can hire Temporary International Workers through Service Canada’s Labour Market Impact Assessment, or if your needs meet one of the exempted areas specified by the Government of Canada.
